Dinner cruises are <br />$35 per person plus tax with a $2 discount <br />for online reservations. <br />This year's show will be held every other <br />Saturday, from 5 to 10 pm Vehicles 1976 <br />and older will be parked in Historic Hastings' <br />Downtown. <br />This free event is a great time to see <br />classics, muscle cars, hot rods, custom and <br />restored cars. With music and food, it's fun <br />for the whole family. <br />For more information, call the Hastings' <br />Downtown Business Association at <br />(651) 437-4400. <br />Historically narrated public excursions will <br />depart the Hastings landing at 12-Noon, 2 <br />pm and 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. Tickets <br />are $20 for adults and $10 for <br />children ages 5-12 (4 and under are free with <br />a paid adult). Reservations are not required, <br />however a $2 per ticket discount is available <br />online for advance purchase. <br />Discount tickets may be purchased in <br />advance online at www.RiverRides.com <br />All excursions will be boarding at the <br />Hastings' Boat Landing which is located on <br />Lock and Dam Road. Mark Twain's 1876 story, <br />The Adventures of Tom Sawyer comes to I ife <br />at the 1866 LeDuc Historic Estate during <br />Rivertown Days. <br />Creative artist Jeremy Roth of Walking Boxes <br />Productions has reinterpreted the story about <br />the imaginative and mischievous boy Tom <br />Sawyer into an old-fashioned radio show. <br />Members of the Festive Folk, (younger <br />volunteers at the LeDuc Estate,) will play the <br />roles of Tom Sawyer, Becky Thatcher and <br />Huck Finn and members of the audience will <br />assist with sound effects and play the role <br />of Aunt Polly. <br />Rivertown News (June 2007 - August 2007) 1 <br />
