Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 4, 2003 Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br />Public Hearing--Code Amendment for Chapter 9 Relating to Keeping of Dogs <br />and Cats <br /> Mayor Werner opened the public hearing at 7:05 p.m. <br />Mesko Lee provided a brief introduction; this amendment would allow residents to <br />own and license up to three dogs, cats, or a combination of dogs and cats. Current <br />code allows a maximum of two dogs, cats, or a combination. No comments have <br />been received. <br /> Hearing no public comment, Mayor Werner closed the public hearing at 7:06 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Second Reading--Code Amendment for Chapter 9 Relating to Keeping of Dogs <br />and Cats <br /> Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka to <br />approve the second reading and ordinance amendment as presented. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Copy of ordinance on file. <br /> <br />Public HearingmDisposition of City-Owned Property: South Oaks of Hastings <br /> Mayor Werner opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m. <br /> Planning Director Hinzman stated that this is for .95 acres of property. <br /> Hearing no further public comment, Mayor Werner closed the public hearing at <br />7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Resolution--Disposition of City-Owned Property: South Oaks of Hastings <br /> Moved by Councilmember Hazlet, seconded by Councilmember Riveness to <br />approve the resolution as presented <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Copy of resolution on file. <br /> <br />Public HearingmPark Dedication Fee Increase <br /> Mayor Werner opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m. <br /> Parks and Recreation Director McNamara stated that the NRRC has reviewed <br />the changes and recommends adoption of the revised park dedication schedule. <br />McNamara reported that one comment stating that the increase is too much was <br />received. <br /> Hearing no further public comment, Mayor Werner closed the public hearing at <br />7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Second Reading~Park Dedication Fee Increase <br /> Moved by Councilmember Yandrasits, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka <br />to approve the second reading and ordinance amendment as presented. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Copy of ordinance on file <br /> <br /> <br />
