<br />HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS GRANTING <br />APPROVAL TO MOVE A HOME TO 110 CHESTNUT STREET <br /> <br />Council member <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John and Nancy Iverson have petitioned for Board of Design Control approval <br />to move an existing pre-fabricated home to 110 Chestnut Street, legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The South Half of Lots I and 2, Block 109, TOWN OF HASTINGS, Dakota County, <br />Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 24,2007, the request was reviewed by the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Hastings, serving as the Board of Design Control, as required by state law, city charter <br />and city ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Planning Commission recommended approval of the request to the City <br />Council subject to the conditions contained herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS The City Council has reviewed the request and concurs with the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF HASTINGS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby approves the request as presented to the City Council subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />I) A permit certified by the building official to move/build the house, and that the building <br />be consistent to building codes. <br /> <br />2) Applicant must apply for a building permit within one year of approval by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />3) The new house must meet all Residential District Lot Regulations. <br /> <br />4) A Tree Preservation Plan along with approval of the City Forester or Parks <br />Superintendent will be required prior to approval of the application. <br />
