<br /> Dakota County Project No. 97-65 <br /> March 21, 2007 <br /> County and the City shall each retain final decision-making authority within their respective <br /> areas of responsibility. <br /> 2. HastinQs Area Roadwav System Study. The area roadway system study shall be <br /> defined as: <br /> a. Public Participation <br /> b. Agency Coordination <br /> c. Impacts and Evaluation of Identified Improvements <br /> d. Final Report and Presentation Materials <br /> e. Community Coordination <br /> The costs shall be cost-shared in conformance with the Dakota County Transportation plan in <br /> the amount of 55% by the County and 45% by the City. <br /> 3. Plans and Specifications. A Request for Proposals was developed to select a consulting <br /> firm to perform the area roadway system study. The deliverables for the study include: <br /> a. All agendas, minutes, agency comments, public open house comments, <br /> graphics, and presentation materials. <br /> b. Final report consisting of executive summary, report, findings, recommendations, <br /> impacts, appropriate graphics, presentation material, and appendices. <br /> c. Electronic file copies of final reports and maps. <br /> d. Consultant presentation of final report at final agency coordination meeting. <br /> 4. Payment. The County will act as the paying agent for payments to the consultant. <br /> Payments to the consultant will be made as the project work progresses and when certified for <br /> payment by the Dakota County Engineer. The County, in turn, will bill the City for their share of <br /> the professional services as specified in paragraph 2. Upon presentation of an itemized claim <br /> by one agency to the other, the receiving agency will reimburse the invoicing agency for its <br /> 3 <br />
