4. Umbrella Liability Insurance. Umbrella liability insurance with a limit of not <br />less than a combined single limit of $1,000,000 each occurrence and in the aggregate in excess of <br />the above liability policies. <br />5. Separation of Insured. [f Contractor's liability policies do not contain standard <br />[SO separation of insured provision, or a substantially similar clause, they shall be endorsed to <br />provide cross-liability coverage. <br />6. Proof of Insurance. At any time during the Work, upon Grantor's request, <br />Contractor shall furnish Grantor with a certificate(s) of evidence of insurance (ACORD Porm 27 <br />or equivalent), executed by a duly authorized representative of each insurer, showing compliance <br />with [he insurance requirements set forth above. <br />(a) All certificates shall provide for 30 days' written notice to Grantor prior to <br />the cancellation or material change of any insurance referred to therein. <br />(b) To the extent permitted by law, the words "endeavor to" and "but failure <br />to mail such notice shall impose no obligation or liability of any kind upon the company, <br />its agents or representatives" shall be deleted from the cancellation provision of all <br />certificates provided by Contractor. <br />(c) Failure of Grantor to demand such certificate or other evidence of full <br />compliance with these insurance requirements or failure of Grantor to identify a <br />deficiency from evidence that is provided shall not be constn~ed as a waiver of <br />Contractor's obligation to maintain such insurance. <br />(d) Grantor shall have the right, but not the obligation, to prohibit Contractor <br />from entering the site until such certificates or other evidence that insurance has been <br />placed in complete compliance with these requirements is received and approved by <br />Grantor. <br />(e) if Contractor fails to maintain the insurance as set forth herein, Grantor shall have <br />the right, but not the obligation, to purchase said insurance at Contractor's expense- <br />asst_~s~~_v~ss <br />
