VIII-A-2 <br />CITY OF HASTINGS <br />DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Resolution No. <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 5TH STREET <br />BETWEEN SPRING STREET AND FOREST STREET <br />WHEREAS, the 2007-1 5`h Street Area Street Reconstruction Program will result in 5`h <br />Street between Spring and Forest Streets being constricted at 28 feet in width to enhance <br />traffic safety by way of improving sight lines and to minimize disturbance of historic <br />property situated at the intersection of 5`h Street with Ashland Street, and <br />WHEREAS, pazking on the south side of this narrow section of 5`h Street needs to be <br />prohibited to facilitate Emergency Route traffic flow on 5`h Street. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF HASTINGS AS FOLLOWS; <br />Upon the completion of the 2007 5`h Street Area Improvements, City staff is hereby <br />duetted to place signage prohibiting parking along the south side of 5"' Street between <br />Spring and Forest Streets. <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HASTINGS, MINNESOTA, THIS 19`h <br />DAY OF MARCH, 2007. <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br />Paul J.
