<br />Hastings City Council Minutes for Re(1llar Meeting of Mi\Y 3, 1999 <br /> <br />P~¡e 2 of~ <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />Public Hearing-2nd Reading of Rezoning Ordinance for Hastings High School <br />Acting Community Development Director Matt Weiland presented to the City Council <br />information regarding the proposed rezoning of the Hastings High School site ITom Agriculture to R-3 <br />PRD Medium Density Residence. <br />Acting Mayor Paul Hicks opened the Public Hearing at 7:04 p.m. for persons to comment on the <br />proposed rezoning. Acting Mayor Hicks asked for any comments from the audience and hearing none <br />closed the public hearing at 7 :05 p.m. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 443-2nd/Final Reading-Rezoning Ordinance-Hastings High School <br />Moved by Councilmember Johnson, seconded by Councilmember Yandrasits, to approve <br />Ordinance No. 443 an Ordinance amending Section 10.01, Subdivision I of the City Code rezoning from <br />Agriculture to R-3 PRD Medium Density Residential. <br />5 Ayes; Nays, None. <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />Public Hearing-Easement Vacation-Sunny Acres 4 <br />Acting Community Development Director Matt Weiland presented information on the proposed <br />easement vacation in the Sunny Acres 4 Addition. <br />Acting Mayor Paul Hicks opened the Public Hearing at 7 :06 p.m. and asked for comments from <br />the audience, and hearing none closed the Public Hearing at 7:06 p.m. <br />Moved by Councilmember Riveness, seconded by Councilmember Simacek, to approve <br />Resolution No. 5-4-99. <br />S Ayes; Nays, None <br /> <br />Public Hearing-2nd Reading of Rezoning Ordinance-Wallin 9th Addition <br />Acting Community Development Director Matt Weiland presented information on the proposed <br />rezoning in the Wallin 9th Addition from Agricultural to R-l. <br />Acting Mayor Paul Hicks opened the Public Hearing at 7:07 p.m. and asked for any comments <br />from the audience, and hearing none closed the Public Hearing at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 442-2nd/Final Reading-Rezoning Wallin 9th Addition <br />Moved by Councilmember Yandrasits, seconded by Councilmember Johnson, to approve <br />Ordinance No. 442 an Ordinance amending Section 10.01, Subdivision I of the City Code rezoning the <br />Wallin 9th Addition from Agricultural to R-I Low Density Residence. <br />5 Ayes; Nays, None <br /> <br />Award Contract-1999 Public Improvement <br />Public Works Director Tom Montgomery presented the results of the bids received for the 1999 <br />Street and Utility Improvement Program. <br />Moved by Councilmember Johnson, seconded by Councilmember Simacek, to approve <br />Resolution No. 5-5-99 receiving bids and awarding contract for the 1999 Street and Utility Improvement <br />Program. <br />S Ayes; Nays, None.
