<br />Hastings City Council Minutes <br />May 19, 2003 <br />Page Seven <br /> <br />Resolution Denying the Vacation of Easement #2003-36, South Pines 4th Addition <br />(Trail) <br />Moved by Council member Moratzka, seconded by Mayor Werner to approve <br />Resolution No. 5/5/03-Denying the Vacation of Easement #2003-36, South Pines 4th <br />Addition (Trail), based on the following findings of fact: <br /> <br />1.) <br />2.) <br />3.) <br /> <br />Request is premature, as homes have not been constructed. <br />May need the full easement for future trail construction. <br />Unknown costs to the City for future right-of-way acquisition if vacation occurs. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mayor Werner, Councilmembers Moratzka, Riveness and Hazlet <br />Nays: Councilmembers Yandrsits and Hicks <br /> <br />The motion was approved. <br /> <br />Unfinished/New Business <br /> <br />Councilmember Hazlet asked that the Planning Committee schedule a meeting <br />to discuss the Williams Addition Development proposal, and Development Agreement <br /> <br />Councilmember Hazlet announced the meeting of the Grand Excursion at the <br />Hastings City Hall on June 11, 2003 <br /> <br />Council member Hicks updated the City Council on the legislative activity relating <br />to Hastings' request for additional liquor license, and the impact of the new law relating <br />to 2:00 AM Bar closing <br /> <br />Councilmember Yandrasits reminded all of the Ward 1 Neighborhood meeting <br />scheduled for Tuesday May 20,2003 at the National Guard Armory. <br /> <br />City Administrator Dave Osberg reminded the City Council of the special meeting <br />scheduled for Tuesday May 27 2003 to discuss the contents of the downtown master <br />plan redevelopment Request for Proposals. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Moved by Councilmember Riveness, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka to <br />adjourn the meeting at 8:44 PM. <br />Ayes: All <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Michael D.
