<br />HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- -03 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS <br />DENYING VARIANCES FOR <br />1009 3RD STREET EAST HASTINGS, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Cou ncil member <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the M. Steven Haas has initiated consideration of two variances for the <br />following legally described property: <br /> <br />All of lot 6 and the west half of lot 7, Block 117, Town of Hastings Blocks 100 <br />Thru 199 Addition, Dakota County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Containing 13,799 square feet, more or less. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 9th, 2003, a review of these variances was held before the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Hastings, and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HASTINGS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Those variances from the following ordinances: <br /> <br />. Section 1 0.26 District Lot Regulations of the Zoning Code states that all structures <br />within an R-2 District have a minimum front yard setback of 20'. <br />. Section 16.05 of the Shoreland Ordinance, Subd. 2.1 Placement, Design, and <br />Height of Structures (B) Additional Structure Setbacks (4) states that structures <br />must be setback 20 feet from the right-of-way line public streets. <br /> <br />are hereby denied based on the following findings of fact: <br />
