<br />HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- -03 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS <br />APPROVING A VARIANCE FOR <br />502 7TH STREET WEST HASTINGS, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Patrick Mancino has initiated consideration of a variance for the <br />following legally described property: <br /> <br />East 10 feet of Lot 3 and all of Lot 4, Block 58, Town of Hastings Blocks 1 Thru 99 <br />Addition, Dakota County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Containing 10,616 square feet, more or less. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 9th, 2003, a review of this variance was held before the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Hastings, and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HASTINGS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That a variance is approved for Section 10.06 Subd. 4 Non Conforming Structures to <br />enlarge a legal non-conforming structure by the addition of a garage at the rear of the <br />house at 502 7th Street West, based on the following findings of fact: <br /> <br />1. The existing structure was constructed prior to the adoption of a zoning ordinance. <br />2. That literal interpretation of the code would deprive the applicant of rights commonly <br />enjoyed by others. <br />3. The proposed addition would not further encroach into the required setbacks. <br />
