<br />;" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Hastings, Minnesota <br />October 19, 1998 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular meeting on Monday, <br />October 19, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 101 4th Street East, Hastings, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Yandrasits, Riveness, Johnson, Simacek, Moratzka <br />and Acting Mayor Hicks <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Werner <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Dave Osberg, City Administrator; <br />T om Montgomery, Public Works Director; <br />Marty McNamara, Parks & Recreation Director; <br />Lori Webster, Finance Director; <br />Matt Weiland, Zoning Administrator; <br />Joyce P. Hottinger, Administrative Assistant/City Clerk; <br />and Shawn Moynihan, City Attorney <br /> <br />Presentation Pool Committee Fundraising Presentation <br />Turney Hazlet, Chairperson of the Natural Resource and Recreation Commission & Pool <br />Committee and Becky Erickson, Pool Committee Member, presented a $70,000 check, through Pool <br />Committee fundraising efforts, for installation of lighting and a drop slide by the Pool Committee <br />fundraising efforts. Pool Committee Members noted pool fundraising continues. Acting Mayor <br />Hicks, on behalf of the City Council, thanked the Pool Committee for their efforts. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Acting Mayor Hicks asked whether there were any corrections or additions to the regular <br />meeting of October 5, 1998 and hearing none, approved the minutes as presented. <br /> <br />Council Items to Be Considered <br />City Administrator Dave Osberg requested Administrative Item No.6 Snow Removal <br />Agreement, would be removed from the Agenda and placed for Council consideration at the <br />November 2, 1998 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />Moved by Councilmember Simacek, seconded by Councilmember Yandrasits, to approve <br />the Consent Agenda as presented. <br />1. Pay all Bills As Audited <br />2. Authorization to Solicit Bids for the Procurement of One 15 to 16 Passenger Bus for TRAC <br />3. Resolution No.1 0-11-98, Resolution Electing to Continue Participation in the Local Housing <br />Incentives Account Program under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act <br />Resolution No. 10-12-98, Declaring October 18-24 as "Dakota County Water Resources <br />Awareness Week". <br /> <br />4. <br />
