These numbers are then used to compute the truth and <br />taxation notices that are mailed to every parcel in November. <br />The Finance Committee of the City Council will continue to hold meetings to review the proposed budget <br />and to refine the tax levy, which can only go down from the preliminary amount. <br />The City Council will hold a budget hearing at the December 7, 2009, council meeting at 7:00pm. Then <br />the final budget will be approved at the following council meeting on December 21, 2009, at 7:00pm. <br />2 <br />
