Minnesota. At each meeting
we examined the language of the existing document for
possible changes. At the close of 1995 we had completed our
work on several areas of interest that included a review of
the city eating wards. We also initiated changes in areas
of the charter dealing with emergency meetings and a sixty
day review process for planning and zoning reviews as
required by state statute.
Hopefully, this brief letter will inform you of our interest
in insuring that the cite charter will continue to be a
relevant and vital document.
Respectfully,
Edith"~ Kaiser
Chairperson
Hastings Charter Commissia~i
An Equal Opportunity Employer
