Hastings, Minnesota <br />April 4, 1994 <br />The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular City Council <br />meeting on Monday, April 4, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 101 4th <br />Street East, Hastings, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Councilmember Johnson, Simacel , Trautmann, Hicks, Warner, <br />Riveness and Mayor Werner <br />Members Absent: Hone <br />Staff Members P res nt. Dave osbearg, City c ninistrator; <br />Barb Thompson, City Clear; <br />Tom Montgomery, Public Works Director; <br />Mike Wo rdal , Community Development Director; <br />and Shawn Moynihan, City Attorney <br />Mayor Werner presented a plaque of appreciation. to Pat Orman for 25 years of dedicated <br />service to the City of Hastings in the Public Works Department. <br />Mayor Werner expressed appreciation to the Minnesota License DONATION <br />Beverage Association for the $2,000 donated to the .A.1 .E. Program. <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember CONSENT <br />Simacel to approve the consent agenda as presented. The Mayor asked if anyone PRD SUNSET <br />wished to speak on the issue and Gordon Swanson of 1488 Pringle Court BEST <br />expressed concerns including proper drainage in that area, which were <br />addressed by Public Works Director Torn Montgomery. The Mayor asked if anyone <br />else wished to speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. The Mayor closed <br />the public hearing at 7:07 p.m. <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember Johnson Z READNG- <br />to approve the 2nd Reading of a rezoning from Agriculture to R -3 PRD for REZONE - <br />Phase 1 of Sunset West. 7 Ayes; lays, None.
