Hastings, Minnesota <br />Feb 10, 1992 <br />The City Council of the City of Has tings, Mi nnesota n et in <br />a special City Council meeting on Monday, February 1o, 1992 at <br />7: 00 p.m. at the American Le gion Club, 50 Sibley Street, Hastings, <br />Minnesota. <br />� Members Present; Councilmember Hick s r Trautivann, Johnson, <br />im,ace, Mathio and Mayor Werner <br />f <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Ri eness <br />Staff Members Present: Dave osberg, City Administrator <br />and John Grossman, HRA Director <br />Mayor Mike Werner ca lled the special City Council meeting to <br />order and solicited questions from the City Cou cil.members and <br />members of the audience, City Councilmember Mathiowetz raised <br />questions about several issues in the budget including window <br />treatments aluminum windows, bathroom tile and gypsum board for <br />the new walls. several questions were raised from the audience <br />including financing, parking and other~ questions related to the <br />preliminary budget, <br />City Administrator Dave osberg presented a tape of a tour <br />conducted of Council Chambers at the City of Burnsville, <br />La and Woodbury, alone with the Board Meeting loon at the <br />Dakota Coun Government C enter. The purpose of reviewing the tape <br />was to discuss issues associated with design plans for the Council <br />C hambers in the City Hall building. The City Council provided <br />several comments and suggestions to the architects regarding the <br />design of the Council Chambers and council table. City Staff was <br />also directed to meet with the architects and Cable Television <br />Staff to discuss issues associated with video equ ipment in the new <br />Council Chambers. <br />Moored by <br />Councilmember <br />8:39 p,, <br />C ouncilmember Simacek, second by <br />Johnson to adj the meeting at <br />ATTEST <br />Mayor <br />
