<br /> <br />VI-tO <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />To: <br />From: <br />Date: <br />Re: <br /> <br />Mayor Werner and City Councilmembers <br />Melanie Mesko Lee, Assistant City Administrator <br />March 30, 2005 <br />Liquor License Amendment and Dance License Request for July 16, <br />2005 for Papa Charrito's <br /> <br />Reauested Action <br />A motion to approve the attached resolution approving a request to amend the liquor <br />license of Papa Charrito's and issue a dance permit for July 16, 2005 contingent upon <br />all requirements being met. <br /> <br />Backaround <br />Attached is a request from Philip Biermaier, President of Papa Charrito's, for an <br />amendment to Papa Charritos' liquor licenses and a dance permit for Saturday, July 16, <br />2005 during Rivertown Days. The amendment is to allow the sale of liquor in a <br />temporary site (in this case a tent), on the same property adjacent to the permanent <br />structure. <br /> <br />The tent is also the location of the dance, and no alcohol will be allowed outside of <br />either the permanent or temporary site. Mr. Biermaier has provided a drawing of the <br />site as well as Proof of Insurance from his insurance agent for the temporary liquor <br />sales. Mr. Biermaier will work with both the Fire and Police Departments for final <br />approval of safety issues. Mr. Biermaier still needs to remit the $5.00 City fee for this <br />request. <br /> <br />Should this request be approved, the request will be part of the Papa Charrito's liquor <br />license file and notification will be sent to the State Liquor Control Board. <br />
