CITY OF HASTINGS Dakota County, Minnesota Resolution No. RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT No. 2005-2, ZWEBER LANE & OAK RIDGE DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, a resolution ofthe City Council adopted the 21 5t day of March, 2005, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed street reconstruction, bituminous trail construction, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and watermain improvements for the Zweber Lane and Oak Ridge Drive improvements, and WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 4th day of April, 2005, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS AS FOLLOWS; that 1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. 2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the feasibility report dated March 21, 2005. 5. Plans and specifications for the Zweber Lane and Oak Ridge Drive improvements prepared by the Hastings Public Works Director are hereby approved. 6. The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Hastings Star Gazette and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the construction of the approved Project 2005-2, Zweber Lane and Oak Ridge Drive Improvements in accordance with such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will opened and considered by the Council at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Hastings City Hall, and that no bids will considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or celtified check payable to the City of Hastings for 5%ofthe amount of each bid. ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HASTINGS, MINNESOTA, THIS 4th DAY OF APRIL, 2005.
