The City Council received two (2) petitions, one <br />signed by adult~ requesting the rink'and one signed by children <br />requesting the rink. Moved by Councilman Bond, seconded by <br />Councilman Klimek to reinstate the hockey rink at Dakota Hills <br />Park for use during the 1982-1983 season. This would be subject <br />to using Mr. Shelstadts hockey boards or the possibility of an <br />agreement with Community Education. Ayes, 8; Nayes, None. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman <br />Trutna to pay the outstanding bill to RCM Engineering Firm and <br />request an audit. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Bond, seconded by Councilman <br />Trautmann, to table the HRA Report until the October 18, 1982 <br />regular City Council meeting~ After some discussion the <br />motion and second to table were withdrawn. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman <br />Trautmann to amend the main motion to authorize a professional <br />audit with legal counsel review regarding the RCM charges and to <br />not pay the bill at this time. The City Administrator/Clerk and <br />the City Attorney are authorized to select a CPA to conduct the <br />audit. Ayes. 8; Nayes, None. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Trutna, seconded by Councilman <br />Karnick to hire Barr Engineering to set up a monitoring <br />program and test and analyze the appropriate wells that may <br />be affected by the former Hastings Landfill. Ayes, 7; Naye, <br />None. Legler abstained. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Trautmann, seconded by Council- <br />man Klimek to authorize advertisement for bids for the completion <br />of the arena roof and to reroof the fire 'station and the police <br />station. Ayes, Legler, Kulzer, <br />Klimek; Nayes, 5., Motion fails. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Legler, seconded by Councilman <br />Pike to have the City Staff check into the feasibility of <br />having the animals picked up by the animal warden impounded at <br />Security Kennels, 21992 Ravenna Trail.
