Due to the substantial number of people present for the <br />Public Hearing on the Adoption of Assessments for the Southwest Ponding Basin <br />Project, Counci1man Stoffel IIDVed, seconded by CounciJ.man Kulzer to reconvene <br />at the Hastings National Guard Armory, Hwy. #316, Hastings, MN. Ayes, 8; <br />Nayes, none. <br /> <br />Marbers present: CounciJmen Trautmann, Trutna, Kulzer, Stoffel, <br />Shannon, Karnick, Collins, Legler, and Mayor <br />Petersen. <br />.. <br /> <br />Merri>ers absent: None. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing on the adoption <br />of the assessments for the Southwest Ponding Basin at 7:30 P.M. <br />The City Administrator read the legal notices of the public <br />hearing and the Certificate of Mailing, into the record, which <br />were published July 17th and July 24th, 1980. <br /> <br />The minutes of the proceedings at the Hearing were taken <br />for the City by a Court Reporter, Theresa Heesch. A canplete <br />transcript of the PUblic Hearing is on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk. '!he Mayor declared the public hearing closed at <br />8:50 P.M. <br /> <br />Moved by CounciJ.man Collins, seconded by CounciJ.man <br />Kulzer to adopt resolution #51-80. Entire resolution on page <br />281 of minutes. Ayes, 6; Nayes, Stoffel, Shannon. <br /> <br />Moved by CounciJ.man Shannon, seconded by CounciJ.man <br />Trautmann to approve the letter prepared by the City Planner, <br />wi th the additions suggested in his presentation, to be sent <br />to the Metropolitan Council as the City of Hastings' comment <br />on the proposed guidelines for review of proposed amendments <br />to local canprehensi ve plans. Ayes, 8; Nayes, none. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Trutna, seconded by Councilman <br />Karnick to pass the second reading of the amendment to Ordinance <br />#104-79 regarding the wrecking or demolition of buildings in <br />the City of Hastings.
