The material to be obtained from <br /> the Highway 61 project under construction. <br /> Moved by Councilman Karnick, seconded by <br /> Kulzer to table the grad:ttlg-~pertidL,applica.tionuntil the July 18, <br /> 1983 regular City Council meeting. Ayes, 7; Nayes, None. l~ <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT - Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Council- <br />5TH AND RIVER ST. - man Nesbitt to deny the special use permit application <br />AL SIEBEN submitted by Al Sieben for a duplex on 5th and River <br /> Street. This denial is based upon a report submitted <br /> by the resident committee citing that it would be a <br /> detriment to the public, health, safety, and welfare <br /> of the residents in the area. Ayes, 5; Naye, Trautmann <br /> and Werner. Motion to deny passes. <br />1ST READING - RE- Moved by Councilman Werner, seconded by <br />ZONING - PLEASANT Councilman Trautmann to pass the 1st Reading of the <br />VALLEY rezoning of Pleasant Valley to an R-3. This would be the <br /> Planned Residential Development only, as presented by <br /> the developers. The 2nd Reading will be contingent <br /> upon the Committee and the Developers meeting and coming <br /> to an agreement; with the Committee coming back to the <br /> Council with a recommendation. This motion was called <br /> out of order per ordinance Chapter 2 Subd. 5. I <br />SALARY ADJUSTMENT - Moved by Councilman Nesbitt, seconded by <br />ACTING CITY ENGINEER Councilman Kulzer to increase the annual salary of <br /> Alan LarsQn~he acting City Engineer effective June <br /> 20, 1983 to $29,500~ This salary would be increased n <br /> to $33,000 upon receiving the Professional Registration I <br /> and completion of a six month probationary period. <br /> Ayes, 7. Naye, None. <br /> , I <br />AUTHORIZE HIRING Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by <br />ASSISTANT ENGINEER Councilman Plan to authorize the advertisement for <br /> an Assistant Engineer position. The salary step <br /> adjustment (per performance & evaluations) would be <br /> as follows: <br /> 1983 $19,000 <br /> January 1984 19,950 <br /> July 1984 20,950 <br /> January 1985 22,000 <br /> July 1985 23,100 <br /> January 1986 24,250 <br /> July 1986 25,450 <br /> January 1987 26,700 <br /> Ayes, 7; Nayes, None. <br />INCREASE OF <br />MILEAGE ALLOWANCE Moved by Councilman Pike, seconded by <br /> Councilman Plan to increase the mileage allowance for <br /> the City Administrator and other City employees to <br /> $.25 per mile if they are using their private vehicles <br /> on City business; or $.19 per mile if they elect <br /> using their private vehicle for City business and -,' <br /> there is a City vehicle available. Ayes, 7; <br /> Nayes, None. <br />1982 AUDITED After a brief review by the City Auditor <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT Gary Kramer, it was moved by Councilman Trautmann, <br /> seconded by Councilman Karnick to approve and accept <br /> the audited Financial Statement and other financial <br /> information for the year 1982 as presented by CPA <br /> Gary D. Kramer. Councilman Pike requested that Mr. <br /> Kramer be brought back again to explain financial <br /> statements after the Council has had an opportunity <br /> to review the audit. Ayes, 7; Nayes, None. <br />
