1154 Moved by Councilman Novak, seconded by Councilman Kramer to authorize the purchase of a new gas pump from Pump & Meter Service, Inc., including the automatic nozzle, key bank and accumulative stamper with 52 additional keys at a cost of $1,117.80. Ayes, all; Nays, none. l Moved by Councilman Hallberg, seconded by Councilman Schnirring to appoint Charles Keller as a member to the Hastings Planning Commission of the City of Hastings to replace Walter E. Petersen whose term expired January 1st, 1973. Moved by Councilman Novak, seconded by Councilman Collins to table the appointment of Charles Keller until the meeting of February 20th, 1973. Ayes, Councilmen Collins, Kramer, Driscoll, and Novak; Nays, Councilmen Schnirring, Hallberg, O'Connor, and Wilson. Being a tie vote, Mayor Petersen voted in the affirmative to table the appointment until February 20th. Motion passed by a five to four vote.
