<br />Hastings 2005 Subrecipient Agreement <br /> <br />Page 5 of 11 <br /> <br />IV. OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. The Sub recipient agrees to assume and <br />carry out the Grantee's obligations and responsibilities under: <br /> <br />A. The Cooperation Agreements entered into between Dakota County and <br />the Subrecipient concerning the Dakota County CDBG Program; and <br /> <br />B. The Supplemental Agreements to the aforementioned Cooperation <br />Agreements entered into between Dakota County and the Subrecipient. <br /> <br />V. BUDGET. This Agreement replaces all previous Sub recipient Agreements and is <br />applicable to prior fiscal year Activities which are not yet completed and to new <br />Activities programmed for CDBG Grant Year 2005. <br /> <br />It is understood that the Funding ApprovaV Agreement (HUD 7082) which is attached <br />hereto as Exhibit L is based upon a 2005 program budget reflecting receipt of <br />$1,951,003 in CDBG Funds from HUD of which $82,000 is allocated to the <br />Subrecipient as the maximum amount available for Fiscal Year 2005. Of the <br />Subrecipienfs total 2005 allocation, $39,584 will be administered by the Subrecipient <br />and is covered by this Agreement. <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />VI. SCOPE OF SERVICES. As required in 24 CFR 570.503 (Exhibit H), the Subrecipient <br />will be responsible for the administration of the following Activities under this <br />Agreement, including ongoing Activities from previous fiscal years and Activities <br />programmed with 2005 CDBG funds. FY 2005 funds will be committed to Activities <br />after July 1, 2005. All funds will be expehded to meet timeliness requirements <br />specified in Section VII (A) and Exhibit M of this Agreement. <br />" <br /> <br />Activity 1-Bliahted Property Clearance <br /> <br />A. Description <br />Acquisition and clearanc.e of blighted properties in various locations to <br />eliminate safety hazards. <br /> <br />B. Budaet <br />FY 2005 Funding: $39,584.00 <br />(Includes $3,584.00 for project administration.) <br /> <br />Activity 2-Residential Fire Protection Assistance <br /> <br />A. Description <br />Assistance for fire protection improvements to residential rental units in <br />downtown mixed-use buildings. <br /> <br />B. Budoet <br />FY 2004 Funding: $40,000.00 <br />(Includes $3,500.00 for project administration.) <br />Balance Remaining as of 6/30/2005: $40,000.00 <br />
