Minnesota State Statute requires all hotels and motels to be <br />inspected once every three years in accordance with the requirements of the Minnesota State Fire <br />Code. <br /> <br />History: <br /> <br />The State Fire Marshal's Division is mandated by State Statute to inspect hotels and motels once <br />every three years. Local jurisdiction may contract with the State Fire Marshal to conduct regular <br />inspections. The local Fire Marshal has in the past, under this provision, pedormed these <br />inspections. <br /> <br />Benefit: <br /> <br />There are several benefits to providing these inspections at the local level. They include: <br /> <br />.
