<br />authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into the following Agreement.
<br />Discussion followed,whereupon Councilman Fischer moved to table, seconded by
<br />Councilman Kramer. Motion defeated by the following vote; Ayes, Councilmen
<br />Schnirring, Kramer, 0'Connor0and Fischer; Nayes, Councilmen Collins, Hallberg,
<br />Driscoll and Novak, being a tie vote, Mayor Petersen voted naye.

<br />Discussion continued, a vote was then taken on the Main motion, the
<br />vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Collins, Schnirring, Kramer, Hallberg,
<br />O'Connor, Driscoll and Novak; Councilman Fischer abstained. Motion carried.

<br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 23rd day of May, 1974
<br />by and between THE CITY OF HASTINGS, a Municipal corporation, of Dakota
<br />County, Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as "City", and Arthur Baumeister,
<br />Jr. of Saint Paul, Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as "Baumeister";

<br />WHEREAS, the City is presently engaged in the development and promotion
<br />of an Industrial Park in the City of Hastings, Dakota County, Minnesota;
