<br />Hastings, Minnesota <br />City Council Minutes <br />August 15th, 2005 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular <br />meeting on Monday August 15,2005 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at the <br />Hastings City Hall, 101 East 4th Street, Hastings, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Werner, Councilmember Hicks, Alongi, Hazlet, <br />Riveness, Schultz and Moratzka. <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />City Attorney Shawn Moynihan <br />Planning Director, John Hinzman <br />Public Works Director, Tom Montgomery <br />City Administrator, Dave Osberg <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes: <br /> <br />Mayor Werner asked if there were any corrections or additions to the minutes of <br />the regular meeting of Monday August 1,2005. Hearing none, the minutes were <br />approved as presented. <br /> <br />Special Presentation <br /> <br />Fire Chief Mark Holmes provided background information on the special award <br />being presented to Ms. Ann Westland, who provided life-saving intervention to a <br />neighbor, on May 15th, 2005 that resulted in the individual's life being saved. Ms. <br />Westland received the award and was congratulated by each of the City Councilmembers. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember Schultz to <br />approve the Consent Agenda as presented: <br /> <br />1. Pay Bills as Audited <br />2. Fueling Station on Mississippi River <br />3. Authorize Amended Agreement with School District #200 at the Hastings <br />Civic Arena <br />4. Lower St. Croix Watershed District Joint Powers Agreement <br />5. CDBG SubRecipient Agreement-Program Year 2005 <br />6. Authorize Out State Conference Attendance <br />7. Proclamation-Step Family Day <br />
