<br />Minutes of the Re!!ular Meetin!! of Au!!ust 15. 2005 <br /> <br />Pa!!e Four of Five <br /> <br />Facilities Maintenance Staffing <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Moratzka, seconded by Councilmember Hicks <br />authorizing: <br /> <br />a.) Canceling of the cleaning services agreements for the City Hall, Police Station, <br />Public Works Garage, Joint Maintenance Facility and LeDuc Mansion, with Staff <br />having the flexibility to coincide the cancellation dates with the start of the new <br />part time employees. <br />b.) Approve the job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician <br />c.) Authorize the advertising and hiring <br />d.) Approve the classification value of 346 and the compensation schedule range of <br />$12.60 - $18.00 <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilmember Moratazka <br />Councilmember Hicks <br />Mayor Werner <br />Councilmember Hazlet <br />Councilmember Alongi <br /> <br />Nays: Councilmember Riveness <br /> <br />Comments from The Audience <br /> <br />Mr. spoke before the City Council and advised that his <br />neighborhood had organized themselves to address further concerns with the <br />implementation of the neighborhood conservation district and encouraged further <br />discussion between the City Council and the City Staff. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Cottrail, an attorney representing the individual who had applied for a <br />gambling permit from Stelutec addressed the City Council on the current status of the <br />permit and questioned what further would be needed to receive the permit. Police Chief <br />Mike McMenomy was present, and explained that the applicant had received a list of <br />information from the State of Minnesota and Hastings Police Department outlining the <br />information that would be required before there is further consideration of the permit. <br />
