Hastings Planning Commission <br />Minutes of July 12th, 1999 <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Schultz called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Flom, Harrington, Schultz, Anderson, Donndelinger and Strauss <br />Commissioners Absent: none <br />Staff Present: Supervisor of Inspections and Code Enforcement, Bill Mesaros <br /> <br />2. Approve Meeting Minutes of June 28th Planning Commission Meeting. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing- M+H Special Use <br /> <br />Supervisor of Inspections and Code Enforcement, Bill Mesaros presented background information on this <br />subject. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Opened at 7:05 pm for the Special Use <br /> <br />Public Comments: Francis Cahill 211 3rd St- concerned about <br />counts. <br />Paul Peters- concerned about vehicles at the phone, light, noise <br />Dan Dege (applicant) - Requested to pull item from agenda indefinitely <br /> <br />gas smell, parking, traffic <br /> <br />Planning Commission Action: <br /> <br />Commissioner Donndelinger made a motion and Commissioner Strauss made a second to pull the <br />M+H Car Wash item from the agenda. <br /> <br />Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays, 0. Motion did not Carry. <br /> <br />4. House Move - 15th + Sibley St <br /> <br />Supervisor of Inspections and Code Enforcement, Bill Mesaros presented background information on this <br />subject. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Action: <br /> <br />Commissioner Donndelinger made a motion and Commissioner Flom made a second to recommend <br />to City Council to authorize issuance of moving & building permits to allow the home included in a <br />proposal from Gary Betz to be moved to the corner of 15th and Sibley St., subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Compliance with all applicable City Code requirements including, but not limited to: City Code <br /> Chapter 4 (Construction Regulations) and City Code Chapter 18 (Property Maintenance <br /> Ordinance). <br />2. That the property is properly subdivided before the home can be moved in. <br />3. That the yard area is seeded or sodded to establish a lawn. <br />4. That 2 deciduous shade tree (minimum 2.5 inch diameter) be planted in the front yard prior to <br /> issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. <br />5. That a paved driveways is installed. <br /> <br /> <br />
