Hastings Planning Commission <br /> November 22nd, 1999 <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Schultz called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Flora, Schultz, Anderson, and Strauss <br />Commissioners Absent: Harrington, Donndelinger, Stotko <br />Staff Present: City Planner Matthew Weiland and Associate City Planner Kris Jenson <br /> <br />2. Approve Meeting Minutes of November 8th, 1999 Planning Commission Meeting. <br /> <br />3. Concept Plan - Wallin Revised Concept Plan <br /> <br />City Planner Matt Weiland presented background information on this subject. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Discussion: <br /> <br />Commissioner Strauss had a question regarding the total number of lots. Planner Weiland stated that the total <br />number of lots was decreasing slightly due to the reconfiguration. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Action: <br /> <br />Commissioner Strauss made a motion and Commissioner Anderson made a second to recommend <br />approval to City Council for a revised concept plan for the Wallin Subdivision, dated 10/12/99, based on <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the applicant agrees and understands that the city is approving only a concept plan and that <br /> this does not guarantee approval of any future preliminary or final plats. <br /> 2. That the applicant will be required to submit full preliminary plat information before a <br /> preliminary plat will be processed for approval. <br /> 3. That the property must be approved for MUSA expansion by the Metropolitan Council before <br /> the city can act on the final approval for any phase of this property. <br /> 2. That the city shall rescind approval of the current sketch plan dated 12/4/98. <br /> <br />4. Updates and Other Business: <br /> <br />City Planner Matthew Weiland informed the Planning Commission about the status of the Comprehensive plan <br />and set up a planning commission comprehensive plan workshop for November 29th, 1999 <br /> <br />Adjournment: <br /> <br />There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:16 pm <br /> <br /> <br />
