Respondents were asked to rate their interest in various programs and facilities that the <br />new YMCA might have (Figure 5). The highest percentages of respondents expressed a <br />great deal of interest in the following: <br />~ A walking and jogging track (68%) <br />~ Fitness programs for beginners (65%) <br />~ Cardiovascular machines, such as treadmills, steppers, or bikes (64%) <br />~ A meeting place for community events and meetings (64%) <br /> <br />.
