UPDATES/OTHER <br />BUSINESS <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />(2) Open sales lots must store used merchandise <br />smaller than an automoblle inside a buildlng. <br />Class II lots must apply for an annual operating "Used <br />Sales Lot Permit" which will be issued or renewed upon <br />certification by the City Engineer that the lot is <br />complying with this Chapter and other provisions of the <br />City Code. Duration of the "Used Sale Lot Permit" shall <br />be for one (1) year from January 1, to December 31. <br />All landscaped planting to be approved by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />The applicant/owner shall satisfy all city code <br />requirements including, but not limited to, parking and <br />signage. <br /> <br />The proposed use shall meet all applicable building <br />and fire codes. <br /> <br />That the applicant/owner provide the City of Hastings <br />with a bond or cash escrow to cover the cost for <br />hooking up to city utilities. The amount of the bond or <br />cash escrow and time period for hooking up to city <br />utilities shall be determined by the Public Works <br />Director. <br /> <br />Upon votes taken, Ayes, 4; Nays, 0. <br /> <br />Czech reviewed City Council actions pertaining to planning <br />matters which occurred at the December 7, 1992, City Council <br />meeting. Commissioner Featherstone indicated his personal <br />views on the Planning Commission Selection Process. The <br />Planning Commission inquired about the Comprehensive Plan <br />Update. <br /> <br />There being no further business, Commissioner Featherstone <br />moved, Commissioner Bolesworth made a second, to adjourn <br />the meeting at 7:26 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
