HASTINGS PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Meeting of September 14, 1992 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Hastings Planning Commission was called to order by <br />Commissioner Reinardy at 7:02 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Anderson, Bolesworth, Featherstone and Reinardy <br />Commissioners Absent: Bateman and Mesaros <br /> <br />Staff Present: City Planner Czech <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />HOME <br />OCCUPATION <br />307 W. 7TH <br />BROSSART <br /> <br />UPDATES/ <br />OTHER <br />BUSINESS <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Commissioner Reinardy called for additions or corrections to <br />the regular meeting of August 24, 1992. There being no <br />additions or corrections the minutes were approved with <br />Commissioner Featherstone abstaining. <br /> <br />Czech reviewed staffs August 25, 1992, memorandum to the <br />Planning Commission relating to a request by John & Peg <br />Brossart for approval of a home occupation at 307 W. 7th <br />Street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Anderson moved, Commissioner Featherstone made a <br />second, to approve the home occupation subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Compliance with all home occupation standards. <br /> <br />Compliance with all Uniform Building and Fire Codes <br />including a basic fire protection inspection by the Fire <br />Marshal. <br /> <br />Upon vote taken, Ayes, 4; Nays, 0. <br /> <br />Czech reviewed City Council actions pertaining to Planning <br />matters which occurred at the August 17, 1992, City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Czech noted that additional Comprehensive Plan update material <br />would most likely be distributed within the next month. <br /> <br />There being no further business, Commissioner <br />moved, Commissioner Anderson made a second to <br />meeting at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Featherstone <br />adjourn the <br /> <br /> <br />
