Hastings Planning Commission Meeting of January 27, 1992 The regular meeting of the Hastings Planning Commission was Commissioner Reinardy at 7:02 p.m. called Commissioners Present: Anderson, Reinardy, Featherstone, Mesaros and Bolesworth Commissioners Absent: Bateman and Zender Staff Present: Community Development Director Wozniak to order by Commissioner Reinardy called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the regular meeting of January 13, 1992. There being no additions or correction to the minutes, the minutes were approved with Commissioner Featherstone abstaining. Czech reviewed staffs January 23, 1992, memorandum to the Planning Commission concerning revisions to sign ordinance provisions. Commissioner Reinardy opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m. There being no comments from the audience the public hearing was closed. Commissioner Bateman joined the meeting at 7:07 p.m. The Planning Commission discussed with staff issues relating to the proposed sign ordinance including, but not limited to, address, public information and portable signs. Commissioner Featherstone moved, Commissioner Mesaros made a second, to recommend approval to City Council an amendment to Chapter 10 of the city code which adds new city code Section 10.075~ repealing, in its entirety, city code Section 10.07, Subdivision 3; and amending existing city code Section 10.07, Subdivision 4-9 by renumbering it 3-8 respectively. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays, O. Czech reviewed staffs January 23, 1992 memorandum to the Planning Commission concerning proposed revisions to citys parking ordinance. Commissioner Reinardy opened the public hearing at 7:19 p.m. There being no comments from the audience, the public hearing was closed.
