Hastings Planning Commission <br />Meeting of January 13, 1992 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Hastings Planning Commission was called to order by <br />Commissioner Reinardy at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Anderson, Bateman, Mesaros, Reinardy and Zender <br />Commissioners Absent: Bolesworth and Featherstone <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Commissioner Reinardy called for additions or <br />corrections to the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of December 23, 1991. There being no additions or <br />corrections to the minutes, the minutes were <br />approved. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Wozniak and City Planner Czech <br /> MINUTES <br /> <br />Community Development Director Wozniak reviewed <br />his January 8, 1992, memorandum to the Planning <br />Commission concerning a proposed zoning ordinance <br />amendment which would create an I-3 Industrial <br />Park Storage/Service District. <br /> <br />I-3 INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK SERVICE/ <br />STORAGE DISTRICT <br /> <br />The Planning Commission discussed the proposed <br />I-3 district including, but not limited to, provisions <br />relating to fencing. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mesaros moved, Commissioner Zender <br />made a second, to recommend approval to City Council <br />of an amendment to Chapter 10 of the City Code <br />causing Sections 10.19 to 10.22 to be deleted in <br />their entirety and causing adoption of new Sections <br />10.19 to 10.22 for the purpose of creating the I-3 <br />Industrial Park Storage/Service District as prepared <br />by staff with the following amendment to Section 10.21, <br />Subdivision 3 (C) which is to read as follows: <br /> <br />"A certain percentage" as determined by staff <br />of opaque fencing or landscaping at least six <br />feet high must be placed around the entire lot <br />and maintained. Fencing type must be approved by <br />the Board of Adjustment and Appeals. <br /> <br />Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nays, 0. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mesaros moved, Commissioner Zender <br />made a second, to recommend approval to City Council <br />of an amendment to Chapter 10, of the City Code <br />causing amendment to official zoning map to rezone the <br />following legally described property from I-1 Industrial <br />Park to I-3 Industrial Park Storage/Service: <br /> <br /> <br />
