Hastings,Minnesota <br /> City Council Workshop <br /> December 7,2020 <br /> The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a workshop on Monday, December <br /> 7, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom virtual meeting. <br /> Members Present: Mayor Fasbender, Councilmembers Balsanek, Braucks, Lund, Leifeld, <br /> Folch, Vaughan <br /> Staff Present: City Administrator Dan Wietecha <br /> Public Works Director Nick Egger <br /> Community Development Director John Hinzman <br /> Others Present: Commissioner Mike Slavik, Dakota County <br /> Jenna Fabish, Dakota County <br /> Steve Weser, Alliant Engineering, Inc. <br /> Mayor Fasbender called the workshop to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Weser gave a presentation on the status of the CSAH 46 Corridor Study. The presentation <br /> included information on the project overview, project goals, community engagement and <br /> schedule. <br /> City Council discussion on cross street intersections, intersection with Vermillion Street <br /> (Highway 61), roundabouts, stoplights, speed, traffic calming,pedestrians, bridge,potential <br /> business park, and community engagement. <br /> Fabish noted that the project is not presently programmed for construction.
