PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />MONDAY, JULY 26, 1976 <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:01 P,M. b y Assistant Cbai, rman Stoffel. <br /> <br />Members Present: Sto£[el, Lind'e, Walker, ]Fischer, and Peterson <br /> <br />Members Absent: Kramer, Latch, Stark and Gle~uie <br /> <br />Student Member Present: Theresa Kusske <br /> <br />Commissioner Fischer indicated that the ~inutcs state AP}°ROVAL OF MINUTES <br />that the Peavey property should be rez oned from R-i to <br />R-Z where in fact it should be 1-1 to I-Z. Moved by <br />Cornrnissioner Fischer, seconded by Commissioner <br />Linde to approve the Minutes as amended. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes. <br /> <br />The Stark Committee report was presented to the <br />Planning Commission indicating that a rezoning from <br />C-3 to R-Z and the grantLug of a special use permit <br />to allow a duplex on Lot 1, Block 38 of the Town of <br />Hastings would be appropriate. <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT & <br />SPECiAL USE PERMIT <br />118 EAST 5TH STREET <br /> <br />A public hearing for the rezoning and special use permit <br />was set for August 9, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Fischer, seconded by <br />Commissioner Walker to refer to the Counci: [ for a <br />first reading on the rezoning of Lot i, Block 38, Town <br />of Hastings with a final recommendation from the Planning <br />Commission forthcoming after the public hearing. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes. <br /> <br />Chairman Glennie's Sub-Committee report was HOME OCCUPATION <br />reviewed by the pl~u,~ing Commission. The Cornrnittee PERMIT - RICHARD <br />inspected the locksmith business operated by A/Ir. TIBBITS - 1208 SIBLEY ST. <br />Tibbits and noted that the business does not generate much <br />traffic, and does not exceed the 25% of the traffic flow <br />area limitation, and does have an off-street parking space. <br />Moved by Commissioner Walker, seconded by Cornrnissioner <br />Linde tm accept the Cemmittee report and recommend the issuance <br />of the home occupation permit. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes. <br /> <br />The proposal submitted by Country Kitchen o( Hastings <br />meets all the City zoning requirements. The Planning <br />Director indicated that the Staff recommended approval <br />of the request subject t'o the following conditions: <br /> <br />SITE PLAN REVIEW <br />COUNTRY KITCHEN <br />1350 SOUTH FRONTAGE RD <br /> <br />1. Du~ to the excessive slope along the north property <br /> line ( 2 1/Z to 1 ), the developer must agree to take the <br /> <br /> <br />
