Quorum: Boler, Sovik Siemens, Langenfeld, Simacek, Goderstad, Cra~, Thorsen present; Warg, Smith absent. Staff.' Grossman. II. Minutes of June 19, 2001. Motion by Langenfeld, second by CraR to approve. IlL Review of building permits or design proposals A. 207-209 Sibley St. Hollenbeck. Review of painting, tuckpointing, awnings, door trim. Motion by Goderstad, second by Simacek to approve as proposed; motion carded. B. 200-202 E 7th St. Pies. Review of plan for remodeling back of house. Motion by Boler, second by Craft to approve as proposed; motion carried. Request for curved driveway across fl'ont of house. Motion by Craft, second by Boler to approve concept, with condition that curb cuts must be approved by City; motion carried. C. 200 W. 7~. John Fasbender. Review of vinyl sid'mg on garage. Motion by Craft, second by Boler to approve and proposed; motion carried. D. 201 E. 2~d St. Dave Clark (architect) Jim Reissner (owner), storefiont remodeling. Motion by Goderstad, second by Langenfeld to approve with conditions; motion carried. Entrance doors - confirm replacement with original doors with staff. Awnings - provide color and mater'kal to staff. Storefiont - confirm design and provide materials information to staff for approval. Paint, signage - provide type style and locations to staff for approval. IV. Unfinished business Council Committee procedure. Councilwoman Janette Yandrasits. discussed the committee's role in reviewing appeals to council, ordinance proposals and specific issues fiom the commission. She also suggested providing a distinctive plaque for designated properties. V. Adjournment. Motion be Goderstad, second by Sovik Siemens; motion carried.
