Roll: Commissioners Anderson, Coutu, Smith, Thorsen and Weinberg present; Schnirring and Simacek absent. 2. Minutes of October 10. 1995: Ms. Anderson moved and Mr. Smith seconded to approve with amendement to reflect that Mr. Smith was present at the meeting; motion carried. 3. Bills: Mr. Smith moved and Ms. Anderson seconded approval of bills. a. IOS - $75.90 - copier service 4. Staff & Committee Reports. a. St. Boniface: The suit was be heard on November 7 and 8th. Written summaries are due December 1st. The ruling will be completed in 90 days. b. Barker House: The Council directed staff to work with the East Side Association as well as the neighbors. No meetings have been set up, but the commission will be represented when they are. 5. Review of building permits or design orouosals. none at this time 6. Unfinished business. LeDuc House: discussion carried over to next meeting. 7. New business. a. The board discussed the goals and schedules for the 1995-1996 fiscal year CLG research project related to a residential historic district with Carole Zellie from Landscape Research. This has become a two-year project. Another CLG grant request will have to be made next January to fund the second half. It is understood that the groundwork and preliminary plan, and a publication, will be done this year, and the district will be proposed next year. Ms. Zellie recommend that a small and compact district may be more useful and a defense of an area; she will propose some feasible boundaries and perhaps some scattered site. Supporters of the district idea will have to be recruited by the block. This year's publication will be a tabloid style with a response form. An informational meeting will be held in late winter. Update meetings will be held in January and April. 8. Adjournment. Mr. Smith moved and Ms. Weinberg seconded; motion carried. Bills: a. IOS - $75.90 - copier service b.
