RE: Budget adjustments
DATE: July 6, 2009
The Drug Forfeiture fund has accumulated funds over the past years from drug forfeitures
and seizures. These funds can be used for drug enforcement/drug prevention programs
and related expenses. The Police Department has expenses totaling $2,463.96 for
repairs made to the Drug Task Force vehicle that are appropriate to be paid from these
funds. A transfer of funds and related budget adjustment is requested.
Council Action Requested:
Approve the above budget adjustment and transfer $2,463.96 from the Drug Forfeiture
fund balance to the operating fund.
