HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-24-98 Special Hastings, Minnesota August 24, 1998 The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a Special Meeting on Monday, August 24, 1998 at 5 :00 p.m. in the Volunteer Room at Hastings City Hall, 101 4th Street East, Hastings, Minnesota. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the Regina Medical Center Revenue Bonds. Members Present: Councilmember Hicks, Simacek, Yandrasits, Moratzka, Johnson Members Absent: Mayor Werner, Councilmember Riveness Acting Mayor Paul Hicks called the meeting to order at 5 :00 p.m. and declared a quorum present. Acting Mayor Paul Hicks opened the Public Hearing to consider the passage of a "Resolution Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of Health Care Facility Revenue Bonds" (Regina Medical Center), Series 1998 of the City and the Execution of Documents. Acting Mayor Hicks opened the Public Hearing at 5 :02 p.m. and asked if there were any questions or comments from the audience. Hearing none, Acting Mayor Hicks closed the public hearing at 5:03 p.m. Moved by Councilmember Yandrasits, seconded by Councilmember Johnson, to approve "Resolution Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of Health Care Facility Revenue Bonds" (Regina Medical Center), Series 1998 of the City and the Execution of Documents. 4 Ayes; Nays, None. Councilmember Moratzka Abstained Moved by Councilmember Simacek, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka, to adjourn the meeting at 5:04 p.m. 5 Ayes; Nays, None. Mayor ~~
