As of 1-4-11 that has been complete.  The aeration system at Lake Rebecca has been turned on for the season.  John Stevens and Terry Meier have celebrated their 10 years with the City. Recreation  The smell of pancakes and sausages along with the sound of ho, ho, ho filled McAuliffe Elementary for the 2010 Breakfast with Santa event. Nearly 150 participants took part in many activities such as Holiday Tattoos, Pin the Nose on Rudolph, Frosty Toss, cookie decorating, ornament making, cupcake walk, present wrapping, and of course sitting and talking to Santa. The event went very smooth thanks to the help of the Hastings Lions Club who helped serve and cook breakfast and Youth Planning Council who volunteered and the different activity stations.  Have been in contact with a couple different advertising agencies seeking ideas on what would work best to develop a marketing plan for our situation. We have gained valuable knowledge and hope to a have better concept in the near future.
