Quorum: Commissioners Boler, Craft, Goderstad, Hellie, LaBreck, Martin, Sovik- Siemens, Simacek and Warg present. II. Minutes of October 8 and 21: Motion by Goderstad, second by Boler to approve; motion carried. III. Review of building permits or design proposals No applications. IV. Business Preservation Ordinance. The commissioners discussed amendments prepared by staff and made recommendations. The city attorney and other department heads will review before HPC and Council consider a final draft. ,.- Reappointments. Motion by Boler, second by Sovik-Siemens to recommend the reappointment of Simacek and Goderstad for another term and the commission's thanks to Mrs. Craft for her diligent service over the past three years in that she does not wish to be reappointed. Motion carried, 9-0. V. Information HPC Staff. Warg or Simacek will be invited to interviews with applicants for the proposed HPC/Planning Intern. New nominations project: Boler and Martin reported they are still considering 314 W 15th, but significance is not clearly established. The 402 W 7th (Boler's) is nearing completion. LeDuc: Interpretation development has started thanks to a federal Byways Grant. DCHS has also contracted for a grounds master plan from Landscape Research. Work is progressing on the house renovation. Interpretive panel project: The work, funded by a grant from National Park Service through MNRRA is nearly complete. The metal supports have been delivered and the panels are expected. V. Adjournment. Motion by Goderstad second by Boler; motion carried. ,-
