HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-09-75 Adjourned Mtg. 1807 Hastings, Minnesota October 9, 1975 The Ci ty COlmcil of the City of Has tings, Minnesota met in an adjourned regular meeting on ThuTsday, October 9, 1975 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. ,- Members present: Councilmen Kramer, Erickson, Latch, Elliott, Schnirring, Hallberg, Fischer and ~~yor Petersen. Members absent: Councilman Novak. The Mayor opened the meeting stating that this meeting was a continuation of the regular Council meeting of October 6, 1975 and the purpose of this meeting was to address ourselves to the final Budget procedure for the 1976 Budget. Moved by Councilman Schnirring, seconded by Councilman AUTHORIZE LEVY FOR Fischer to authorize the City to levy $33,333.50 for the purpose of PARK IMPO\~ENTS being a local match for a Federal grant application which the City has submitted for park improvements in the old Mill Park. It is understood that this levy is levy exempt under the levy limit law y;hich the City is currently operating under. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none. Councilman Hallberg introduced the follm\ing resolution 311d moved its adoption.: RESOLUTION - CERTIFIC.I\TION TO COUNTY AUDITOR RESOLUTION NO. 44-75 CERTIFY TO AUDITOR 111is is to certify that there is now on hand sufficient funds for the 1976 principal and interest on the following bonds and that the County Auditor is directed to reduce the levy for t]1ese funds by the following amounts, pursuant to 1\1inJlesota Statutes 1949, Section 495.61 through Spction 475.63, as amended.
