The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a
special meeting on Thursday, February 21, 1985 at 7:00 p.m. in
the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
Members Present:
Councilmen Kulzer, Bond Nesbitt,
Plan, Trautmann:Bnd~Mayor Stoffel
Members Absent:
Councilmen Berg, Werner and
Mathiowetz
Also Present:
HRA Commissioners Wendler and
Soleim
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a public hearing and
consider a resolution for the sale of $1.8 million in Industrial
Revenue Bonds.
The City Administrator gave an overview of the project and all
persons were afforded an opportunity to address the issue; no
one desired to do so. The Mayor closed the public hearing at
7:19 p.m.
Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman Nesbitt to
approve an inducement resolution 11-85 for the sale of not to
exceed $1.8 million dollars for an Industrial Revenue Bond
issue on behalf of Master, Inc. 5 Ayes, Nayes none.
Moved by Councilman Plam, seconded by Councilman Trautmann to
approve resolution 12-85 giving the City of Hastings Housing
and Redevelopment Authority the authority to enter into a pur-
chase agreement with Master, Inc. to aquire their property at
102 Tyler and the empty lot north of the Gardner House.
5 Ayes, Nayes none.
Moved by Councilman Plan, seconded by Councilman Trautmann to
adjourn at 7:21 p.m es, Nayes none.
