HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-04-85 094 Hastings, Minnes ota Novernbe r 4, 1985 The City Cooneil of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular meeting on Monday, November 4, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cooneil Chambers of the City Hall. Members Present: Cooncilrnernber Berg, Werner, Kulzer, Bond, Trautmann, Nesbitt, Plan, Mathi~tz and Mayor Stoffel. The Mayor declared the Public Hearing open at 7:31 p.m. to hear and PaSs on all objections, written or oral, if any, to the proposed assessrnents for the 4th street watertower project. Jim Kleinschmidt, City Engineer explained the assess- rnents as to areas benefitted, total cost, city cost, benefit assessments. The Mayor asked if anyone wished to speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. '!be Mayor declared the public hearing closed at 7:36 p.m. The Mayor declared the Public Hearing open at 7 :37 p.m. to consider amending Section 5.42 Subdivision 2 of the City Code amending the annual license fees for garbage refuse haule rs fran $10.00 to $100.00. The Mayor asked if anyone wished to speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. The Mayor closed. the public hearing at 7:38 p.m. The Mayor declared the Public Hearing open at 7 :38 p.m. to PUBLIC HEARIN:; consider adopting a Hoosing BorXl Program for the issuance of PRorosED Single Family Mortgage Revenue BorXlsautnorizing submission and SIN:;LE FAMILY issuance of bonds and approving a policy report of the Dakota HClJSIN:; BOND Coonty Hoosing and Redevelopnent Authority. Mr. Hafley resides oot of state and the City will pay for his transportation and lodging for the interview but should he be the successful applicant, the City will not pay for any moving costs.
