BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Change Order sets a unit price on an item that was previously included as a small part of a lump sum expense within the contract. The item, an additional controller “brick”, is necessary to add to the lighting control system to produce capability for operating the aesthetic lighting on the Bridge. It was determined after additional field investigation work that two of these bricks would be necessary rather than the one included in the original contract as part of a larger lump-sum item. Sam Kessel of Bolton & Menk has provided elaboration on the various adjustments and added work items in the attached memo to help explain the background. FINANCIAL IMPACT The value of the items contemplated by Change Order #2 is a $575.94 increase to the total contract value, about a 0.11% increase.
