HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/14/75?LANNING COMMISSION MINUTES TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, [975 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Linde. Members present: Chairman Linde, Kramer, Trautn~an, Soleim, Stark and Tanner. Members absent: Latch and Stoffel Student members present: Student members absent: Moved by Commissioner Kramer, seconded by Commissioner Trautman to approve December 9, 1974 Planning Gommiss[onminutes with the change that Commissioner Soleim and Commissioner Tanner's terms have expired instead of them resigning. Moved by Commissioner Kramer, seconded by Commissioner Trautman to call for a Public Hearing in regards to amending the zoning ordinance to allow as a special use creameries and processing of dairy products in G-3 zones. Six ayes, zero nays. After much discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Trautman and seconded by Commissioner Stark that the Planning Commission recommend small animal clinic would be aIlowed in that they felt that it was a professional service. After much discussion, it was moved by C~mmissioner Trautman, seconded by Commissioner Tanner to table the motion untiI the January 27, 1975 meeting. Six ayes, zero nays. Mrs.. Chandler, Mr. Glermie and Mr. Elliott were all in the audience and they were interviewed by the Planning Commission members. Moved by Commissioner Soleim and seconded by Commissioner Kramer to accept applications until 4:30P. M. January 27th, 1975. Six ayes, zero nays. GALL FOR PUBLIC HEARING AMEND C-3 ZONING DISTRICT SMALL ANIMAL CLINIC IN A G-3 ZONE INTERVIEW OF PLANNING COMMISSION APPLICANTS Planning Commis s ion Minutes (Cont.) January 14, 1975 -2- Since there were some questions on the final plat for the Westview Shopping Center, Addition 1, it was agreed by all Planning Commission members to refer the matter to the Tanner Subcommittee. Since there were still some questions on the preliminary plat and rezoning for the Sisters of Charity, all PIanning Commission members agreed to refer this to the Hirchert Committee. Members of the Planning Commission wanted to know the status of the Capital Improvements Program and if possible it would like a copy of it at the next meeting on January 27, 1975. Moved by Commissioner Soleim, seconded by Commissioner Stark to adjourn. Six ayes, zero nays. Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 P. M.
