Resolution--Approve On-Sale Liquor License: The Red Feather Restaurant <br /> <br />Copy of resolutions on file. <br /> <br />Award Contract--Highway 61 and 10th Street Improvements <br /> Staff requested that this item be tabled until the Special City Council Meeting on <br />Monday, June 23, 2003. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Hazlet, seconded by Councilmember Yandrasits to <br />table this item until June 23, 2003. <br />7 Ayes; Nays, none. <br /> <br />ResolutionB$ite Plan #2003-28: 30-Unit Condo Building: 875 Bahls Drive <br />(Lawrence Builders) <br /> Moved by Councilmember Moratzka, seconded by Councilmember Riveness to <br />approve the resolution with the 16 conditions as presented in the planner's staff report. <br />7 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Copy of resolution on file. <br /> <br />Resolution-.Variance #203-40:1009 East 3rd Street (Haas) <br /> Staff recommended denial of the variance because staff does not feel that the <br />applicant has demonstrated sufficient hardship to warrant approval. If the variance is <br />approved, the house will become a legal, non-conforming structure. The Planning <br />Commission recommended denial of the variance, citing lack of hardship. <br /> Councilmember Yandrasits stated that she felt that the applicant does meet the <br />standards for a setback variance. She stated that special circumstances exist, which <br />can be used as a finding of fact in the granting of a variance. <br /> r~loved by Councilmember Yandrasits, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka, to <br />approve the mcluest for a setback variance and deny the request for a variance from the <br />City's shoreland ordinance. <br />7 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Copy of resolution on file. <br /> <br />Resolution--Variance #2003-43:502 West 7th Street (Mancino) <br /> Planning Director Hinzman stated that the applicant is seeking a variance to build <br />an attached garage on the site. Staff is recommending approval of the variance. The <br />Planning Commission considered this request and recommended approval of the <br />variance. Hinzman also stated that this property is under consideration by the HPC to <br />be added to the local Heritage Preservation List. A public hearing has been ordered for <br />July 7, 2003 to consider that application. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Hazlet, seconded by Councilmember Riveness to <br />approve the variance request as approved by the Planning Commission. <br />7 Ayes; Nays, none. <br /> <br /> <br />
