Councilmember Moratzka <br />requested staff advertise the snow removal policy in future City Newsletters. <br />Moved by Councilmember Simacek, seconded by Councilmember Johnson, to accept the Operation <br />Committee recommendations with the addition of an annual notification requirement in the City <br />Newsletter: <br />. Keep the Snow Emergency Ordinance unchanged, continuing to prohibit parking during <br />snow emergencIes. <br />Place additional snow emergency parking restriction informational signs at high traveled <br />intersections within the City. <br />Request the Police Department to investigate the feasibility of placing a tag with the snow <br />emergency parking restriction information on a violating vehicle along with the ticket for <br />violating the ordinance. <br />Have the impound lot hand out a copy of the snow emergency parking restriction <br />information to home owners when they come to pick up their towed vehicle. <br />.
