Hastings, Minnesota <br />City Council <br />Apri120, 2009 <br />The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular meeting on <br />Monday, Apri120, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at the Hastings City Hall, 101 East <br />4~' Street, Hastings, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Hicks, City Councilmembers Alongi, Hollenbeck, Slavik, Balsanek, <br />Nelson <br />Councihnember Elling Schultz arrived at 7:25 p.m. <br />Members Absent: None <br />Staff Present: City Administrator Dave Osberg <br />City Attorney Dan Fluegel <br />Assistant City Administrator Melanie Mesko Lee <br />Public Works Director Tom Montgomery <br />Planning Director John Hinzman <br />Parks & Recreation Director Barry Bernstein <br />Aquatic Manager Darbie Johnson <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Mayor Hicks asked if there were any corrections or additions to the minutes of the special <br />or regular meeting on Monday, April 4, 2009. Hearing none, the minutes were approved as <br />presented. <br />Youth Recycling <br />Bret Bell of Waste Management presented a check for $55.90 to the Hastings High <br />School Cross Country team and thanked them for their participation. <br />Presentation on LeDuc Mantion-Chad Roberts, Dakota County Historical Society <br />Executive Director <br />Roberts provided information about 2009 planned activities and thanked the City and its <br />volunteers for making the estate awell-run operation. <br />Consent Agenda <br />Moved by Councihnember Alongi, seconded by Councihnember Slavik to approve the <br />Consent Agenda as amended. <br />7 ayes; Nays, None. <br />i. Pay Bills as Audited <br />2. Resolution--Council Support for State Income Tax Credit for Rehabilitation of Historic <br />Structures <br />3. Fitness for Survival Event <br />4.
