Approve Byrne/JAG Grant Joint Powers Agreement <br />Public Hearing~rdinance Amendment Relating to License Year Terms <br />Mesko Lee introduced the item and stated that no comments have been received on this <br />proposal. <br />Mayor Hicks opened the public hearing at 7:15 p.m. Hearing no comments, Mayor Hicks <br />closed the public hearing at 7:15 p.m. <br />Second Reading/Ordinance Amendment Relating to License Year Terms <br />Moved by Councilmember Hollenbeck, seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve <br />the ordinance amendment as proposed. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Award Contract HFAC Drain Cover Replacement <br />Bernstein introduced the item and requested that the bid for $5,400 be approved, with an <br />additional $5,000 for a slide and play feature baffles if recommended by the consultant. $10,000 <br />has been budgeted for the project. <br />Moved by Councilmember Hollenbeck, seconded by Councilmember Alongi to approve <br />the item as presented. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Resolution-Approve Plans and Authorize Advertisement for Bids for 2009 Sealcoat Program <br />Moved by Councilmember Slavik, seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve the <br />resolution as presented. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Councilmember Elling Schultz arrived at 7:25 p.m. <br />Accept Barr Engineering Proposal for FEMA Required Provisionally Accredited Levee <br />Certification <br />Montgomery introduced the item and stated that this is a federally required study and is <br />included in the 2009 budget. <br />Moved by Councilmember Alongi, seconded by Councilmember Hollenbeck to approve <br />the proposal as presented. <br />7 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />
